Reading Cloth

Reading Cloth is a course that aims to explore the nature and function of Cloth for the distinct systems of expression and the legacies of textiles as a discursive realm of ideas. To read the language of Cloth, the course has an exclusive selection of instances and examples from the histories of Arts and Crafts across cultures, handpicked for a pan Indian context. This course will provide a comprehensive set of tools to explore the hidden meanings behind the seemingly mundane world of Textiles
